- Suggestions
- -----------
-
- * Please don't try using this program without the system operator
- documentation. It can't be done.
-
- * You'll have much better luck if you keep it simple.

- OOPS: Last minute notes
- -----------------------
-
- Some of these notes are of a very technical nature. If they don't
- make sense, don't worry about it.
-
- * To H)URL messages and/or files, the source and destination areas
- have to be on the same physical drive. That isn't stressed in
- the documentation.
-
- * For BBS/GBS embedded commands, when one character of the command
- is a regular printable character, it must be an uppercase
- character. Embedded commands are now case sensitive! This isn't
- mentioned in the documentation.
-
- * For "bark" type file requests, only one request per netmail session
- will work. That isn't an intentional limitation. That's all we
- could get to function reliably.
-
- * At the last minute, a glitch with Telink file transfer popped up.
- There seems to be some roughness between files when using Telink
- with some terminal programs. Because of this, "T)elink" doesn't
- appear on the file transfer protocol menu. It IS a valid method,
- and both the "DT" and "UT" commands work.
-
- * The system can handle session- and transaction-level passwords
- for netmail. Documentation for these items will be available
- shortly. Netmail access codes are not covered in the regular
- system operator documentation.
-
- * In addition to the sysop documentation file, you can expect a
- "tech ref" series soon. There is absolutely nothing in Opus that
- is secret or proprietary. If you have a question about a
- structure (etc), please contact OPUSarchive (150/1).
